What is your best piece of advice for someone looking to purchase a home in the current market?

Alice: Do your market research to find the property that you want, the prices, and come in strong. So once you’ve found something, definitely put your best foot forward to give you the best chance to be able to secure a contract.

Josh: Be prepared. Have your pre-approval ready for your finance. Have your conveyancer there so you know what you’re using for your special conditions, and know your building and pest, so you know what they are going to be doing.

Pam: The best advice I can give you is don’t go online and ask for a pre-approval online because they don’t have all the facts and you must go and see a broker, make an appointment, and tell them everything about your spending habits. Because you must be pre-approved before you start looking at properties on this market.
