Reflecting on 2022

Jacob and Greg reflect on 2022 and what it looked like for our tenants.

Greg is feeling fantastic going back to office feeling refreshed from Christmas break with plenty of reflections done while he sits down with Jacob and strategize with him for the year to come.

For Jacob, 2022 was a really interesting year. It was probably not the year that he thought it would be as it was really tricky especially for the tenants that the team saw across the market in all aspects.

Our team have had a historically low vacancy rates for more than 12 months now. The last report is that from the REIQ was 0.4% as compared to a normally healthy vacancy rate that operates between 2-3%.

It was really hard for the tenants so much so that the tenants have actually make the decision of purchasing property because they have not been able to find another rental property that might suit them.

Overall, 2022 was a really challenging year and it will be interesting moving forward into 2023.
